In case anyone wants to read the musings of a 3 and 5 year old in my birthday card..

My niece and nephew decided to write Jen & I letters. Here they are:

Dear Jen and NettNett,

You are good and nice nice. I love you Jen. Sweety sweety. I like to play with my swords. And I like junk food and vegetables. God is a big hero. And Jesus is in Heaven. And cleaning up is ALLSOW doing nice things for your parents and God.

When I grow up I’m going to take my children to church in a dump truck. Will they still be my children if I take them to church in a dump truck?

I like to watch Nemo. I love to drink soy milk. I like to fight in my underwear with my cape and sword. I like to kill bad guys.

Happy birthday! I love you! Ha ha!

Lincoln. (My three year old nephew)

And from Reagan:

Dear Jen & NettNett,

I love you NetteNette & Jen. I really really do. I love love love you NettNett & Jen. I love you NettNette & Jen Jen Jen. I love you so much in my heart. I very very very veeeeerrryy love you.

I really do love you, that was a song I wrote. How are you doing? I really want you to come back. I hope you enjoy your presents. I made that craft for you. How I made the craft was I used beads and put them on something and ironed it and it came out!

Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy Birthday Dear NettNett! Happy Birthday to Jen! You are turning 20, you are turning 20! And I very very looooovve you!

When I grow up I’m going to have a pink house. My husband will be outside on a ladder painting it pink every day while I sit inside and read chapter books.

Little kisses- From Reagan

I miss my little babies.

Me & Matt. <3

Me & Matt. <3

So in the last month..

I moved out of my parents house.

And 1200 miles away to Texas. Austin, Texas to be more specific. Round Rock, TX to be incredibly specific.

I moved in with some lovely ladies. They own a dog. This is Chica.

Jen came with me too. This is Jen, in Texas.

She is also with Chica. We like Chica.

Next month I will be starting school at a place I’ve dreamed of going to for years. Word of Faith’s Bible Training Center. I am ecstatic. <3

I now live two miles away from my boyfriend, who I lived 1200 miles away from for a whole year. He’s incredible. He actually flew up to Michigan to help me and Jen drive down to Texas. Here he is pumping my gas in the middle of Nowhere, Arkansas (because he is a gentleman).

I have two jobs, one as a supervisor at a kids clothing store and one as a sales associate for New York & Co. Not bad at all.

The running theme of my life? God is good and He provides. He makes the impossible become possible.

I will never go without because He is my provider and I trust in Him.

And I’m finally at peace. Thank God. <3

Just said goodbye to Lynette tonight. So sad and so happy at the same time. Here’s a super old picture of us that I think pretty much sums up our friendship.

I’d say that’s about right. I love you so much. <3

Working a 9 1/2 hour shift at work isn’t so bad when your boyfriend, from Texas, has flowers delivered to you at work during that shift. <3

Matt Hoyle, you are amazing. =)

long time no talk!

Haha yes! What part did you live in? And where do you live now?

diamondeyampert said: where are you and jen going to be living/working in Texas? are you going to be renting your own place or what? i'm ultra curious because I almost moved out this year! decided to give it another year before I venture off on my own though. to both of you - be thankful you've got a sister to do it with. and "it" isn't limited to just moving, "it" meaning life in general :)

Round Rock, Texas! Which is near Austin. We’re going to be renting out of Ebeth Tarkington’s house! And yes, I’m so grateful to have lil Jen coming with me. I’d had myself prepared to do it alone but it’s nice to have her coming along. I’m sooo excited to move out though. I’m gonna miss my family like crazy but me and Jen are adults now, and it’s tough having four adults live in a house together, haha.

Leaving my shore soon. <3

Anonymous said: You have THE BEST style ever, I am in love with all your cute outfits! Your earrings and shirts especially.
Do you mind if I ask you where you shop?

Whoever you are, I’m not sure where you would get a chance to see my shirts or my earrings, but thanks! I shop at a lot of places, but mainly Target and Forever 21 I guess. In the last year I’ve shopped at a lot of little boutiques and stuff in Texas, and random mall stores that only show up in the west side of the country.
